How to Duplicate a Shipment


Duplicating a shipment is the fastest way to rebook a similar order without starting from scratch. Whether youโ€™re sending to the same customer again or correcting a small mistake on a previous booking, this feature helps you save time, avoid retyping details, and get labels purchased in just a few clicks.


๐Ÿ’ก When should I use Duplicate Shipment?


Use duplication when:


  • Youโ€™re shipping to the same recipient and want to reuse the address, parcel details, and customs information.
  • You made a mistake on your original booking (e.g. wrong item value, wrong contact number, incorrect weight).

Instead of recreating the shipment manually, just cancel it and duplicate it with the correction.


๐Ÿ“ Where to find Duplicate Shipment


You can duplicate a shipment from two places:


1. From the Shipments Table


  • Go to Shipments in the menu.
  • In the row of the shipment you want to copy, click the arrow on the left-hand side of the row to expand the details.
  • Click the Duplicate Shipment button in the Quick Actions panel.


2. From the Shipment Details Page


  • Click View on the shipment.
  • At the top of the page, select Duplicate Shipment.


Both options open a new shipment form pre-filled with all the details from the original shipment.


๐Ÿ“ What happens when you duplicate a shipment?


When you click Duplicate Shipment, TUNL will:


  • Open the shipment booking form
  • Pre-fill all shipment details including:
    • Recipient info
    • Parcel dimensions & weight
    • Line items, HS codes, and values
    • Delivery address
    • Non-delivery options
    • Collection address
  • Allow you to update any information before booking


This saves you from retyping anything manually, especially helpful for repeat orders or fixing errors.


๐Ÿš€ Completing the duplicated booking


After the form opens:


  1. Review and update any details (e.g. weights, item values, customs details)
  2. Add a new invoice number or reference
  3. Select your service (Economy, Express, etc.)
  4. Confirm your collection method
  5. Double-check everything is correct
  6. Click Buy Label(s)


Your new shipment is now booked ๐ŸŽ‰
