👚 How to Save Products for Faster, Smoother Shipping

If you regularly ship the same items, the Product Library helps you save time and avoid customs delays.

Instead of entering the same product details every time you book a shipment, you can save your products once and reuse them whenever you ship again. It’s fast, accurate, and built to make international shipping simpler.

🔍 What is the Product Library?

The Product Library is your personalised list of items you ship.

Each product includes:

A Display Name – a name that’s easy for you to recognise (e.g. Darth Vader Shirt)
A Customs Description – a description that helps destination customs understand what’s in the parcel (e.g. Men’s Cotton T-Shirt)
An HS Code – a customs classification number used for calculating duties and ensuring smooth clearance
Origin and Destination Country – to ensure HS codes are valid for the route you’re shipping on

Saving your products in the library means:

✅ Get accurate, country-specific HS codes
✅ Prevent delays at customs
✅ Keep your international shipping compliant

📥 Adding Products to Your Library

You can add a product in two ways:

1. While Booking a Shipment

Under Parcel Contents, click Add a New Product
Enter a short description of what you’re shipping
We’ll guide you through our Classify Tool to help you find the correct HS code
Confirm and save the product to your library for future use

Go to Products > Classify
Type in your product name and additional details like material and destination
We’ll suggest the best-matching HS code
Click Save Product to add it to your library

🧾 Writing a Great Customs Description

When describing a product, try to include:

Material + Item Description + Function or Use + (optional) Age/Size

Examples:“Cotton T-shirt for Adults”“Plastic Headphones for Music Listening”“Wooden Toy Blocks for Children (Age 3+)”

This helps you get the right HS code and avoid customs delays.

🧠 Managing Your Product Library

Once you’ve saved products, go to Products > Library to:

📝 Edit the name, description, HS code, or country
🔍 Search by name, description, or HS code
🗑️ Delete products you no longer use

You’ll always see your saved products when booking new shipments, just select from the list and everything will be pre-filled.
