Returns Helpdesk Article

At TUNL, we understand that returns can be a complex part of international shipping. Below is a guide to help you navigate the process smoothly.

Who Covers Return Costs?

Merchants are responsible for all return fees, including:

  • Return transportation fees
  • Any applicable DDP charges
  • Additional fees incurred during the return process such as handling surcharges.

Exceptions:

If the carrier returns a package without informing TUNL, the merchant will not be responsible for the return costs. This only happens when:

  • The package was shipped to a country that only allows returns and does not offer the option to abandon or destroy the package.
  • This policy varies by country, so it’s essential to check destination-specific regulations before shipping.

Minimising Return Costs

To reduce potential return fees and delays:

  • Ensure that your client's details (address, phone number, and email) are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor tracking updates and take proactive action if there are delivery issues.
  • If you anticipate a return, contact TUNL support as soon as possible to explore options.
