TUNL Economy is our most cost-effective international shipping service, exclusively for parcels heading to the United States.

🚛 Key Requirements

Destination: USA only

Weight Limit: Max **60kg volumetric or actual weight** per parcel

Multipiece Shipments: Not supported

Max Shipment Value: 800 USD (in line with US De Minimis rules)

💡 Need to send multiple parcels to the same customer?

You can book each parcel individually on your TUNL dashboard. Just make sure that the total combined value of these shipments remains under $800 USD to qualify for De Minimis clearance.

💡 Sending to different customers?

Great! The $800 limit applies per receiver. This means you can ship parcels with a combined value of more than $800, as long as each individual receiver gets no more than $800 worth of goods.

🛫 How It Works

Drop-Off Deadline

We collect and process all parcels from our merchants by 5:00 PM every Tuesday.

Consolidation & Customs

Your parcel is grouped with others and cleared through customs. These parcels are packed into large shipping containers (called “consoles”) ready for export.

Export to the USA

The console departs South Africa over the weekend and lands in the USA by the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

Final Mile Delivery

Once in the US, our local partner receives the parcels and hands them over to UPS Ground for last-mile delivery across the country.

⏱️ Delivery Timeline

From the Tuesday your parcel is packed into the console, you can expect delivery to your customer in approximately 10–14 days.

UPS Ground usually takes 3–5 business days once the parcel is in their hands, depending on your customer’s location.

🔍 How to Track your TUNL Economy Parcel

On the right-hand side, locate the Shipments section and click on it.

Find the Economy shipment you’d like to view and click View.

At the top of the page, click the green Track Shipment button.

You can track your shipment on this page. Once your parcel has been handed to UPS Ground, click the “Click here to track on UPS.com” button at the top right to continue tracking via UPS directly.
