Where and How to Drop Off Your TUNL Shipment

Shipping internationally with TUNL? Here’s everything you need to know about getting your parcel into our hands—whether you’re in Cape Town or further afield.

🚚 TUNL Drop-Off 101

If you’re using TUNL Economy, remember—it’s a drop-off only service. No pickups, no fuss.

For other services (like FedEx or UPS), collections are included if your address is in a serviced area. Not sure if your location qualifies? Contact support@tunl.to

📍 Where to Drop Off Your Package

If you're in Cape Town

You can drop off your shipment at our Cape Town warehouse:

🕘 Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

📅 Weekly Cut-Off:

To make the weekly Economy shipment, drop off your parcel by close of business on Tuesday.

Need to get it to us but can’t come by? No problem. Many merchants use The Courier Guy, Uber Parcel, or similar same-day courier services to send their shipments over.

If You're Outside Cape Town

You’ve got options! You can send your shipment to us using our partnership with PostNet, make use of local courier options like The Courier Guy, or Pudo Lockers for a cost-effective and convenient drop-off solution.

Recommended Options:

📦 PostNet Drop-Off

You may drop off your parcel (under 7kg chargeable weight) at any of the ~500 PostNets nationwide. (Store Locater)

How it works:

Let us know you’d like to use the drop-off service and tell us which PostNet branch you’ll be using.
We’ll send you a unique reference code.
Securely attach your TUNL generated international waybill and commercial invoice to your parcel.
Simply take your parcel to the PostNet you've selected, give them the code, and you’re done!

🎁 This PostNet service costs only R70 and will be billed directly to your TUNL account.

🏷️ Package Prep Checklist

Before you send your shipment our way, make sure it's properly packed and labelled:

✅ Use the shipping label generated by app.tunl.to
✅ Ensure the label is clearly visible and securely attached
✅ Double-check the recipient info is correct (especially for Pudo and PostNet)

🚨 Important Packaging Warning

We do not accept unlabelled parcels. If your parcel does not have a label and is not packaged properly, we will return it to you at your own expense.

💰 Outlying Areas: Know Before You Book

Our couriers charge extra for pickups in outlying areas. To avoid delays and surprise fees, you’ve got options:

To avoid the pick-up fee and delays, you can book the shipment using TUNL’s “from address”, and then send your parcel to us.

Choose what works best for your business, especially if you're based outside major cities.

💡 Tip: If your area is considered outlying, it’s often faster (and cheaper) to send your parcel to our Cape Town warehouse instead of waiting for collection.
