🚀 Automate Order Fulfilment with TUNL’s WooCommerce Integration

Tired of copying and pasting customer info into shipment forms? We get it. That’s why we built the TUNL WooCommerce Integration - to automate the boring stuff so you can focus on growing your business.

With our Orders & Fulfilment Automation feature, you can sync international orders, pre-fill shipment details, and book your international shipments, all in just a few clicks.

🔄 What It Does

Once your WooCommerce store is connected to TUNL, we’ll:

✅ Pull in all unfulfilled international WooCommerce orders

✅ Pre-fill the “Book Shipment” form using your order data (customer details, HS codes, item values)

✅ Let you buy shipping labels directly from TUNL

🚧 Automatically send tracking details back to WooCommerce (coming in V2)

🚧 Mark the order as completed/fulfilled (coming in V2)

🎥 Video Walkthrough

To make it even easier to understand how the WooCommerce Orders & Fulfilment feature works, we’ve created a quick video walkthrough.

Watch the step-by-step video guide to see just how simple it is to book shipments directly from your WooCommerce orders.

🧠 How It Works (Overview)

TUNL connects to your WooCommerce store using our secure API integration and plugin.

  • Orders are automatically synced every few minutes.
  • When you book a shipment in TUNL, we will pre-fill the “Book Shipment” form using your order data (customer details, HS codes, item values)

🛠️ How to Get Started

Step 1: Install & Connect the Plugin

  1. In your TUNL dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → WooCommerce.
  2. Click Add Integration and follow the on-screen setup wizard:
    • Download the TUNL WooCommerce Plugin (.zip)
    • Upload it to your WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
    • Activate the plugin and paste the API Token generated in TUNL
  1. Once connected, your WooCommerce store will sync with your TUNL account.

Step 2: Ensure Product Data Is Complete

To make booking your shipments faster add the required customs information to your products in WooCommerce:

  • Weight and dimensions
  • HS Code (custom attribute: hs_code)
  • Country of origin (custom attribute: country_of_origin)

💡 Tip: You can bulk add or edit these using WooCommerce’s CSV Import/Export tool:

📦 How to Use It

1. View Your Unfulfilled Orders

Head to the Orders section in TUNL.

You’ll see all your unfulfilled "Processing" WooCommerce orders listed.

2. Book a Shipment

Click Book Shipment next to any order.

We’ll automatically pre-fill:

  • Recipient details
  • Product descriptions, HS codes, and declared values

You just need to:

  • Add parcel dimensions and weight (if missing)
  • Select your preferred shipping service
  • Select if you would like to book a collection, add insurance, and select who pays the duties and taxes
  • Click Buy Label(s) to generate your shipping label

🧾 Note: If the customer selected a shipping service at checkout, that info will appear under the list of services - helping you choose the right one.

3. Fulfil the Order in WooCommerce (Manually for now)

Once your shipment is booked:

  • Login to your WooCommerce store and click on Orders.
  • Open up the order you just created a shipment for.
  • Scroll down to the Order Notes section on the right-hand side.
  • In the Add note box, enter your tracking details, for example: Tracking Number: 1Z987654321 Carrier: UPS Tracking URL: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1Z987654321
  • From the dropdown, select Note to customer.
  • Click Add. This immediately sends the tracking information to the customer, ensuring they receive their tracking number before the order is marked complete.
  • Update the order status and set to Completed. This triggers WooCommerce to send a Completed Order email to the customer and removes the order from your list of unfulfilled orders on TUNL.

💡 If You Don’t Fulfil Immediately

No worries - the order stays in your TUNL Orders list.

You’ll see a View Shipment button to jump straight back in when you’re ready.
