|| This article explains how to integrate TUNL's shipping rates into your Shopify store if you are on a basic/unpaid plan. It covers the step-by-step process to set up basic shipping rates using Toolify Shopify App, enabling accurate static shipping cost calculations during checkout. The guide also includes troubleshooting tips to address common issues merchants may encounter.

|| - These rates only go up to 10kg's and only cover the most popular 20 countries that our customers ship to. We are currently working with Toolify to broaden this to our full rates.

|| - For the rates at checkout to work accurately, product and variant weights must be added in Shopify according to actual or volumetric weight for international shipping. You can follow this guide to bulk edit weights in Shopify.

|| - If your store already has another shipping integration loaded, Toolify will not work. Please get in contact with us so we can assist to integrate the rates another way.

Although we try our best to ensure delivery of your shipments, things sometimes go wrong. TUNL offers shipment protection to help you cover any potential losses.

What does it cost?

Shipment Protection costs 2.5% of the value of the goods.
We charge for Shipment Protection in Rand, with a minimum charge of R50.

Billing Process:

The insurance charge will appear on your invoice as a separate line item labelled "Shipment Protection".
Note: Shipment protection costs are billed upfront and cannot be refunded after the shipment has been dispatched/collected.

What is covered?

What: Loss, theft, and damage.
Location: Anywhere to everywhere
Coverage: Up to $15,000 (roughly R280 000).

How can I get my shipments to you?

If you are based in Cape Town, you can drop off your shipment at our office, or send it via The Courier Guy, Uber Parcel, etc.

We are here from 9 am to 5 pm every weekday.

Currently the following shipments can't be booked on our platform:

Imports
FedEx International Priority Freight Shipment (import or export) between 30kg's - 999kg's

We are working to add these to our platform. In the meantime, we can book these on your behalf.
