1. Export & Import Quotes ⚡

You can get an instant estimate for an export or import shipment using Quick Quotes.

⚠️ Important:
Quick Quotes only uses your To and From addresses — it gives you a fast estimate, but it doesn't include:

What you're shipping (product details, HS codes)
Add-ons like shipping protection, insurance, or direct signature
Duties and taxes
Additional handling fees for large parcels
Carrier adjustment charges
For TUNL Economy, Quick Quotes only shows the DDP rate.

It's a great way to get a quick estimate, but it's not your final landed cost.

2. Multi-piece Quotes 💻

You can get your multi-piece shipments using Quick Quotes.

⚠️ Important:
Multi-piece Quick Quotes:

Is limited to 15 parcels per shipment
Uses your To and From addresses only — same exclusions as above (no product/HS code details, no add-ons like insurance or direct signature, no duties and taxes, no carrier adjustment charges, no large-parcel handling fees)
TUNL Economy is a single-piece only service and does not accept multi-piece shipments

It's a great way to get a quick estimate, but it's not a final landed cost.

3. Full Landed Cost Quotes 🧾

Quick Quotes only takes your To and From addresses, so it can't show what you're actually shipping, any add-ons, or what you'll owe in duties, VAT, and surcharges.

For the full picture, create a mock shipment — you'll go through the real booking flow without confirming it:

Sign in to the TUNL app
Click "Create Shipment"
Enter your shipment details — parcels, what you're shipping (with HS codes), and any add-ons like insurance or direct signature
Each section will have a green check mark once it's been successfully completed
Once all sections are complete, you'll see your quote on the right hand side of the screen

✅ This view gives you a clearer breakdown of:

Base shipping cost
Your selected add-ons
Estimated duties and taxes, including VAT where applicable
Any surcharges, such as outlying area fees

You can use this as a mock quote without confirming the shipment if you're just checking pricing — simply exit the page once you've got your quote — or you can proceed to book the shipment by clicking "Buy Labels".

Please note that, while our pricing stays fairly constant, quotes generated on our platform are subject to change.

🚨 A mock shipment is the only way to see an all-inclusive quote - including VAT, duties, optional add-ons like shipping protection/direct signature, and surcharges - before you book.

4. Heavy Freight Quotes 🧱📦

For Heavy Freight shipments - exports and imports, you can get a quote the same way as any other shipment: a fast estimate using Quick Quotes, or the full landed cost by creating a mock shipment in the TUNL app

5. Personal Shipments & Gifts 🚫

We're currently focused on helping South African businesses and merchants ship internationally (both exports and imports), so we aren't set up for personal shipments or gifts just yet 🙂
