๐Ÿ’ณ Payments & Your TUNL Credits - Everything You Need to Know

This article explains how payments work on TUNL, what payment options are available to you, and how credits and refunds are handled to keep your shipments moving smoothly ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ” Payment Basics

  • Payment is required before shipping labels and documents are released
  • You can save a card at checkout for smoother payment on future shipments
  • TUNL does not store your card details โ€” all payments are processed securely by our payment provider
  • Account credits can be applied manually toward any outstanding balance โ€” you're in control of when

๐Ÿ“ฆ Paying for a Shipment

When you book a shipment, you'll see a Confirm & Pay panel on the shipment page. Click the Pay Now button to open the payment window.

  1. Click 'Pay Now' on the shipment page to open the payment window.
  2. Review your total and choose a payment method โ€” saved card or pay instantly by card or instant EFT.
  3. Enter your card details or select an alternative payment method to complete your payment.

If paying by card or instant EFT, you'll be taken to a secure payment screen where you can enter your card details or choose another method such as Scan to Pay, SnapScan, or Pay by Bank.

๐Ÿ’ณ Payment options available:
  • Saved card โ€” use a card you've previously saved to your account
  • Card โ€” enter your card details at checkout
  • Instant EFT with Ozow โ€” connects directly to your bank for immediate payment
  • Scan to Pay / SnapScan โ€” scan a QR code to pay
  • Account credit โ€” apply credits from your TUNL Credits

๐Ÿท Labels and shipping documents are released immediately after payment is processed.

โš ๏ธ There are no automatic card charges โ€” each payment requires approval from you at the time of booking.

๐Ÿงพ Settling Rebilling Invoices

Carrier adjustments and other invoices applied after shipping are settled in your Account section (Settings โ†’ Account โ†’ Billing).

For monthly settlement merchants, rebilling charges appear as line items within the relevant month's statement and are paid as part of it.
For pay-as-you-go merchants, rebilling invoices are due on the date of issue.

Open the statement (or the invoice) and click Pay now to settle.

๐Ÿ“Š Your Account & TUNL Credits

Your Account section (Settings โ†’ Account โ†’ Billing) gives you a full view of what you owe, your statement history, and your TUNL Credits โ€” all in one place.

๐Ÿ‘€ What you'll see:
  • Total statement charges due โ€” the amount payable now, across any due or overdue statements. Click Pay now to settle.
  • Saved payment card โ€” the card on your account (one at a time). Add, update, or remove it here. You're only ever charged when you approve a payment โ€” there are no automatic card charges.
  • Statements list โ€” one row per month, with its status (Open, Due, Overdue, Paid), total charges, and outstanding amount. Click View to drill into a statement and see every shipment and transaction in it. Export any issued statement, or export them all.
  • TUNL Credits โ€” your available credit balance, shown in the account info strip. Credits are added automatically when a paid shipment is cancelled or an insurance claim is approved, and you apply them yourself when paying.

๐Ÿ’ก Pay-as-you-go merchants see the same area without statements โ€” just the total of unpaid shipments, since labels are held until each shipment is paid.

๐Ÿค” What happens when you cancel a shipment:

If you cancel a paid shipment, the value is automatically added to your TUNL Credits. From there you have two options:

  • Use the credit toward a future shipment at checkout
  • Request a refund to your bank account โ€” reach out to our support team and we'll guide you through the process. Please note that we'll require your bank confirmation letter to proceed with the refund.

โœจ Credits & Cancellations

When a paid shipment is cancelled, the value is added as a credit to your merchant TUNL Credits โ€” no automatic refund is issued.

  • Credits sit separately from your outstanding balance
  • You choose when to apply them and how much to use
  • Partial credit application is supported โ€” you don't have to use the full amount at once
  • Credits can be applied toward shipment payments or statement settlement

โš ๏ธ Credits are not automatically applied to your balance. You'll need to apply them manually when settling.

๐Ÿ’ธ Requesting a Payout or Refund

If you have a credit balance and would prefer a payout back to your bank account, you can submit a request by reaching out to our support team. Please include your tracking number and bank confirmation letter โ€” our team will process your request and follow up with the next steps.
